Release 13.2 – October 2025
The recently-released LearningBuilder 13.2 is internal, with updates that will be widely available in the upcoming 13.3 release.
Those updates include a new major feature: Multi-file uploads, sure to make life easier for many system participants! It also includes a significant enhancement to our reporting tool that has been backported for immediate availability. Read on for more details, a feature preview, and a few other highlights of what’s to come:
Major Features
- LearningBuilder already offers straightforward document upload and management capabilities as well as enhanced data import for extended functionality of data uploads. Now, we’re simplifying configuration and improving the user experience for uploading multiple files, making it easier (on both the front and back end of the system) to upload multiple files (say, supporting documentation) at once. Stay tuned for more details about the Multi-File Uploads feature, which will be widely released in version 13.3.
Configuration Improvements
- In the LearningBuilder language, Activity Offerings refer to events that take place at a particular date and time with a specific “seat capacity,” like an exam. We’ve made the Activity Offering seat assignment process better in several key ways, which will be available to all in the near future.
- We’re also bringing some updates to the Role Details page, adding information and links to enhance clarity for configuring Role properties.
Reporting Improvements
- To get the full scope of the data needed for a given report, sometimes many data sources are required. To improve LearningBuilder’s report generation, we are adding fields to many data source views, which will reduce the number of total data sources and joins required to design reports. Because this update has the potential to greatly simplify reporting for many clients, it is currently available to all clients with no upgrade required.
Cosmetic Improvements
- Last but not least, we’ve created a better-looking “Choose File” window for the LearningBuilder file library.
