Scott Reed

Scott Reed is one of the industry’s leading programmers and system architects with knowledge in many of today’s leading technologies, including Cold Fusion, Java J2EE, ASP.NET, PERL, C++, and ECMA Script (JavaScript). Mr. Reed is a certified Macromedia Flash Developer.

Mr. Reed has developed complex Web applications and advanced database applications with remarkable speed and efficiency since 1997. In some form or another, Scott has impacted all of the software deliverables that Heuristic Solutions has provided to its customers. Specifically, Scott has served as the development lead on projects for the Cato Institute, Verizon, United States Coast Guard (USCG) the Navy Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS), American Society for Nephrology (ASN), and MSHC Partners.

As the key development lead in the Heuristics partnership with Gunnison Consulting, Scott is currently working with the Census Bureau designing applications that will be used to gather and organize data for the 2010 Census.

Having stayed at the “bleeding edge” of software development for the past ten years, Scott specializes in developing miraculous solutions to our customers’ technical needs and pressing business problems.

Mr. Reed holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, one of the leading Computer Science programs in the world. He currently lives in Washington, DC and aspires to becoming the world’s best handler in Ultimate Frisbee.
